Display penstands made of Lego pieces

I've since a while thought about constructing something of practical use of Lego.

These are two display stands, first is for two pens with ink loaded and ready to be used, the second is for three which are just on display and waiting to be filled with ink.

The designs aren't final. I've especially thought about making the colours of the stands match and/or contrast the pen colours.
